The showcase, under the theme "Territories of Contemporary Art in Network", presents a diverse selection of artistic projects from across the country, spotlighting the work of 11 organisations that are part of the RPAC. Solar – Cinematic Art Gallery brings to ARCOlisboa its distinctive approach to the intersection of cinema, contemporary art, and experimental practices, reinforcing its identity as a space dedicated to exploring the moving image.

Solar’s participation in this initiative is part of a broader effort by the RPAC to promote territorial cohesion and the circulation of artists, artworks, and audiences, enhancing contemporary artistic creation beyond major urban centres. The gallery, managed by Curtas Metragens CRL, is widely recognised for its ongoing work in promoting both national and international artists whose practices engage with expanded cinema, installation, and visual arts.

ARCOlisboa 2025 will take place from May 29th to June 1st, 2025, at the Cordoaria Nacional in Lisbon.
