Alongside a selection of the Best of the 33rd Curtas Vila do Conde, highlighting some of this edition’s award-winning films, feature films will also be screened, such as: Saravah, a vibrant musical portrait of Brazil, directed by Pierre Barouh, featuring Maria Bethânia, Paulinho da Viola, Pixinguinha, and Baden Powell; Le Deuxième Acte (Second Act), the latest absurd comedy by Quentin Dupieux, which opened the 2024 Cannes Film Festival; and L’Événement le Plus Important Depuis que l’Homme a Marché sur la Lune (A Slightly Pregnant Man), by Jacques Demy, a satirical fantasy blending humour and social critique with the characteristic charm of the French filmmaker.

A diverse programme, ranging from contemporary to classic cinema, invites audiences to rediscover the pleasure of watching films outdoors, in a relaxed and intimate atmosphere.
