On Friday, June 6th, at 9:30 p.m., Solar - Cinematic Art Gallery will host a special open-air cinema session, where you can watch all the short films featured in the ANIMAR 20 exhibition.

On Saturday morning, June 7th, at 10:30 a.m., the Educational Service and the Ciência Viva de Vila do Conde are joining forces to hold an inspiring family workshop entitled “Painting with Plants” at Solar. Using pigments found in plants, participants will give free rein to their imagination in a sustainable artistic creation in harmony with nature.

On the same day, at around 2:00 p.m., there will also be a family workshop entitled “Portraits on Cardboard,” led by director Patrícia Rodrigues. Participants will be challenged to portray each other through blind drawing, creating self-portraits on different types of paper and cardboard, which will ultimately be animated in stop-motion.

Participants in both workshops will receive a double ticket for the Closing Session, which will take place at the Municipal Theatre of Vila do Conde starting at 4:00 p.m. This session will feature Pablo Berger's feature film “Robot Dreams”, as well as the making-of and short films produced during this edition of the Long-Term Workshops.
