Marie Losier is a French filmmaker and curator, who has made most of her career in New York, where she documented some of the icons of underground culture, such as the Kuchar brothers, Guy Maddin, Richard Foreman, Tony Conrad, Genesis P-Orridge, Alan Vega, Peter Hristoff and Felix Kubin. Poetic, dreamy and unconventional, her films explore the lives and work of these artists.

Marie Losier recently presented at Solar the exhibition Excesso Chamalo, developed especially for Curtas Vila do Conde in partnership with David Legrand.
