Loja das Curtas is hosting the second session of the “Conto Contigo” series, a programme of short story readings and plenty of fun activities, aimed at children and families, which takes place on the second Saturday of every month. Led by Xana Miranda, the event features a live reading of children’s stories, followed by a surprise activity and a light snack.

The next session will take place on May 9th at 3.30 pm, featuring a reading from the book “The Great Grrrrr” by Marie-Sabine Roger and Marjolaine Leray, a fun and unexpected short story that explores deep emotions, communication and empathy. Participation is free, but subject to prior registration.

As part of the ANIMAR 21 side programme, this series aims to introduce children to literature in a fun and interactive way, whilst also encouraging family reading time.

This hilariously entertaining book takes frustration and impatience to a ridiculous extreme and finds humor in uncontrolled emotions no toddler will fail to recognize. Expressively illustrated by Marjolaine Leray in sketchy crayon drawings with bright neon second color to accent the visual drama.
