On Wednesday, July 22nd, at 4:00 p.m., filmmaker and artist Miranda Pennell will be at Solar – Cinematic Art Gallery for a guided tour of her exhibition.

Artist and filmmaker Miranda Penell will lead a guided tour of her exhibition, on view at Solar – Galeria de Arte Cinemática. During the tour, she will discuss her process of research and creation, reflecting on the use of photographic archives, colonial memory, and the relationships between landscape, image, and violence. As she walks through the gallery’s various spaces, she will also share the questions that guide her artistic practice and the central themes of the exhibition, inviting reflection on how archives preserve, conceal, and reconfigure history..
