An award for the film-workshop 'Moon Mole', as part of Solar's programming
'Moon Mole', a film resulting from a workshop organized in the scope of ANIMAR 17, which is part of Solar's programming, awarded with the National Animation Prize.
The film Moon Mole was awarded in the Prémio Nacional da Animação 2022, promoted by Casa da Animação, as Best Film in the Workshops category.
'Moon Mole' was developed in the context of an animation workshop in chalk and engraving, held by 12th grade students of the José Régio Secondary School, in Vila do Conde.
The workshop, guided by the directors Alexandra Ramires, Dimitri Mihajlovic, Laura Gonçalves and Leonor Pacheco, took place in the scope of the ANIMAR 17 project, which proposes new tools, means and methodologies that introduce the principle of learning through a participatory experience. This project is part of the programming of Solar – Cinematic Art Gallery, and is promoted by Curtas Metragens CRL, with the support of the Direção-Geral das Artes.
'Moon Mole' is also part of the programming of the European network Short Circuit, being exhibited in several countries, under the initiative The Short Film Day.
