As part of the exhibition ‘Efforts of Nature IV’, which opened at Solar on 13 July, London-based filmmaker, and writer Morgan Quaintance took part in a guided tour.

The guided tour of the exhibition took visitors on a tour of the body of unpublished and site-specific works that Morgan has produced for the Solar - Cinematic Art Gallery space, including moving images, sound pieces, photographs, satellite images, found materials, and various documentation.

Seeking to relate individual mental states to planetary changes in environmental conditions, Morgan incites the public to reflect on the passage of time, mortality, and the dissolution of the body, in its conceptual articulation with the disintegration of the polar ice caps.
