On Saturday, June 8th, from 10:30 AM to 1 PM, there will be a children's workshop called 'An Animated Dive' with author and illustrator Catarina Gomes in the gallery's courtyard. The workshop will teach basic animation techniques, storyboarding, and the creation of cardboard props, allowing children to create characters and a mini-animation.

The workshop is open for children over 6 years old and is designed to include the whole family. There is a limit of 10 participants, and bookings can be made using the provided form.

Participants of the workshop will receive a double ticket to the Closing Session of the ANIMar 19 Film Cycle, featuring the children's film 'The Song of the Sea' by Tomm Moore and its making-of produced by students from ESMAD - School of Media, Arts, and Design. The screening will take place on the same day at 4 PM at the Vila do Conde Municipal Theatre.

Additionally, at the same time, from 2 PM, Solar - Cinematic Art Gallery will be hosting the ReCriarte X Solar artists' fair with the 10 finalists of the 2nd edition of ReCriarte. The artists will be promoting their work and talent to the sound of Tiago Leonor's DJ set, with drinks provided by DCN Beers.
