It all comes down to that: energy. Against the bureaucratic ghosts masquerading in contemporary artists and cultural producers, oppose some kind of energy. I feel sorry for everyone who lacks poetry. I am sorry to all those who lack innocence. I feel sorry for all those who for over forty years of democracy have not been able to distinguish between life and career projection. This is what defines our country, unfortunately.

Pedro Magalhães is a diver in the recent memory of what defines us. And if it doesn't define us, forgive me dear reader, leave me here with no hard feelings. If you don't understand what music in the last fifty years has helped define the contexts of the fine arts, then leave the room.

If you don't understand how someone gives up a comfortable life to devote to what has brought him permanently together, then drop what you are reading.
