João Louro, who have been developping a very special relationship with cinema, presents a solo exhibition at Solar, which starts from the title of a film by Leos Carax, "Boy Meets Girl". Following a strategy of allusion to icons and cinematic references, João Louro articulates his own memories with collective imaginary, exploring apparatus that relate various media, supports and semantics. The Cinematic Art emerges as a fundamental reference in this exhibition but not exclusive, first by appropriating the title of the film that gives it its name, but rather by the presence of those objects carried into the gallery.
