The starting point for this exhibition was the exploration of errors as a production process of audiovisual images that result from a conscious search for imperfection. From the recycling of video and cinema "garbage", emerged a set of video installations especially conceived for this exhibition that conjured up a permanent enigma to the spectator during his visit to the different areas of the gallery.

Hugo Olim and Pedro Maia, two video-makers that emerged from video-jamming and sound and image performances, had here their first exhibition together: a series of original video installations that converged in a reflection on memory and the unreliability of the moving image. Their work provides a look at the fragility of analogue and digital media within a new perspective that reinvents itself through the possibilities of reinterpretation operated by the use and manipulation of found footage.
