"Running Away into you" is the first book by Portuguese film director Mário Macedo (born 1989). In this, his first monograph, Mário Macedo takes us on a romantic journey of almost ten years, smoky encounters, parties, between Zagreb, Berlin, Copenhagen or Lisbon. Snapshots of a European youth trying to slow down the pace of our capitalist societies.

Currently based between his hometown and Berlin, Mário Macedo directs Morph's first feature film, MILKWEED, with Enotea and Marco Stoltze. His films have been selected for various festivals, such as the Cannes Film Festival, Cairo FIF, Doclisboa FIF, Sarajevo Film Festival, São Paulo FIF and he was awarded Best Director at Curtas Vila do Conde 2021 and won the National Grand Prize at FEST Novos Directores /Novos Filmes 2017. "Running Away into you" is a co-edition between OLHAR DE ULISSES with LEBOP and the prestigious publishing house Editions Loco in Paris.
