Solar – Cinematic Art Gallery is celebrating its 20th anniversary with the 20th edition of ANIMAR, dedicated to Portuguese animated cinema, starting on March 8th. The program will include a group exhibition, guided tours, themed workshops, and film screenings at the gallery, Vila do Conde Municipal Theatre and Auditorium, and local schools.

This year's exhibition aims to inspire creativity and engagement among families and young people, offering an interactive and immersive art space. ANIMAR 20 will feature the award-winning films Almost Forgotten (2023), It Shouldn't Rain Tomorrow (2024), T-Zero (2024), The Girl with the Occupied Eyes (2024), and Three Comma Fourteen (2024).

In addition to experiencing full-scale sets, visitors will have the opportunity to explore various film production elements. This includes character studies, storyboards, puppets, and props, all designed to take audiences deep into the creative minds behind the films and their studios.
