Led by Catarina Gomes, author, illustrator, and artist, this workshop aims to animate the activity of taking a dip in the sea. Starting with a brief introduction to the main animation techniques and the creation of a storyboard and cardboard props, participants will create their characters, using drawings and cut-outs, to create a mini animation before and after the dive.

The workshop has a limit of 10 participants and is aimed at children over 6, but is open to the whole family.

Registration can be done by filling in the following form until 6th June which costs €5, paid in person on the workshop day.

Those who participate in the workshop will automatically receive a double ticket to the ANIMar19 Closing Session, where you can watch the children's animation film ‘The Song of the Sea’ by Tomm Moore! The screening takes place on the same day, June 8th, at 4 PM at the Vila do Conde Municipal Theatre.
